How were Assyrians mentioned in Syriac literature?
In December 2024, an anonymous Assyrian reached out to SEC regarding the publishing of a new article. This article, and its subsequent Slides presentation, details in-depth the remembrance and connection of the ancient Assyrians to the Suryaye in Syriac literature. The article is chronologically ordered and includes discussions of various figures and texts across both the East and West Syriac rites.
Over the course of a year, SEC worked as part of a collaborative team to compile and add all the information into a Google Slides visualization. After a scholarly review, we officially published the project on our Academia page for all to enjoy!
